Selling your tickets
If you can no longer use tickets bought from Ticketmaster, you can list them for sale on our Ticket Exchange. You can sell your tickets for face value or less and they will appear for sale on Ticketmaster, the world's biggest ticket marketplace!
It's really easy to list your tickets for sale directly from your Ticketmaster account, simply follow the steps below:
- Login to your Ticketmaster Account
- Find the ticket (or tickets) you no longer need.
- Hit "Sell"
- Set the price.
- Fill out the requested information and hit “List”
- That’s it – your tickets will be listed on Ticketmaster and if they sell you’ll receive an email confirmation right away.
Resale not available?
Only tickets that show in your Ticketmaster account can be sold on Ticket Exchange. You may also find there are a small number of tickets that can’t currently be resold via our Ticket Exchange, these include tickets purchased on a payment plan and some theatre shows such as Magic Mike and Harry Potter.
If this is the case, you will see a "resale not available" message instead of the "sell" button.
You will also see this message if the event is only a few days away as we turn off the "sell" button with a few days to go because we won't have time to process the sale.
Tickets can be listed for sale up to 3 days before the event takes place.
However, in order to make sure tickets can arrive with buyers on time, the off-sale date is subject to change.
If you're looking to transfer tickets to a friend you can find out more about Ticket Transfer in the Ticketmaster help pages or by clicking here.
